Information and Communication Technology
The Information and Communication Technology Sector Pathways are designed to prepare students for entry level positions as computer maintenance technician apprentice, Information Technology (IT) technician apprentice, robot service technician apprentice or related fields. Students study skills as development and use of algorithms, computer programming, computer hardware and software, operating systems, computer networking, robotic automation, engineering practices, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) & Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) and science skills, all necessary for entry level positions in computer, Information Technology (IT) or robotic automation fields.

Students may continue studies in this area and potentially earn the following degrees and certificates: Associate of Science in Computer Science for Transfer, Associate of Science in Computer Science Option, Associate of Science in Network and Security Option, Certificate of Achievement in Computer Science Option, Mobile Development Option, Web Development Option, Network and Security Option.

Monterey Peninsula College :
For students who complete this pathway, the following programs are offered at Monterey Peninsula College. Students may continue studies in this area and potentially earn the following degrees and certificates: Associate in Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Networking and Security, or Computer Information Systems; Certificate of Achievement in Computer Networking and Security, Software Development, IT Technician - Network Specialization, IT Help Desk and User Support, or IT Computer Retail Sales and Support.
